Herby Dan opened Herb’s Bake Shop in the beautiful Jewish settlement of Beit El (which means house of God) in 1989. Nestled in the hills of Samaria, Herby has nurtured his boutique family business using his favorite recipes that he has collected over the years.
Herby went to school to become a lawyer (and even practiced law for a year) but kept returning to his passion, which was baking. He has something of a magic touch and has a way to make the best pastries, bread, and cookies, many of which use healthier ingredients such as spelt and wholewheat flour.
